Quality & Material
There are a few different styles of Roll Bar Covers, each with a different look and slightly different material. We are looking for a firm canvas style material that is waterproof and proven to not fade over time from sun exposure.
This ensures the interior foam padding will be safe from the elements and last a long time. Canvas-style material is also easy to clean when it inevitably gets dirty on the trail.
Color
Black is the most common color that you will find for a roll bar, and unfortunately, over time it will eventually fade, but the difference isn’t as drastic compared to other colors that I have seen.
Tans and Browns look much worse after being affected by the sun, which makes black seem like a very safe color.
You can treat it with UV protectant to increase the longevity of your product!
Cleaning Difficulty
Your roll bars will have some kind of foam padding, if it is unprotected (aside from the high-quality Neoprene) it will absorb water and eventually mildew.
The pads that are high-quality canvas material are super easy to clean, you can simply wash them at the same time as the rest of the Jeep with a pressure washer.
Personally, I prefer the latter, being able to wash down my Jeep without any special precautions.
