The Rust-Oleum brand is well known for having a quality product and their Undercoating spray does well at an affordable price!
The Rust-Oleum products were used in my house all the time growing up since they were an affordable brand. I tried them out because of my past experience with their products and that I read how easy to use they are!
Once I made sure the full surface area of where I was spraying was very clean, it sprayed on super easily! This spray does a great job as a rust protectant and provides a great layer of sound dampening material to help reduce road noise.
The only annoying part I experienced with these cans of undercoating spray is how long the cure time was. I saw a few people saying to let it cure overnight, but mine took closer to 24 hours between coats, which seemed a little excessive.
All in all, this product does what it is advertised for and does a good job protecting the metal from rusting out. It is an affordable option as well that can be used on more than just your Jeeps undercarriage!

I have used the Loctite brand plenty of times while doing different home projects and while working on several vehicles.
I thought I would give their undercoat spray a try and was pleasantly surprised! The cure time wasn’t atrocious like the Rust-Oleum spray and the finish was very durable.
I’ve taken a pressure washer to it several times since applying it and the coating holds up against the high pressure water without chipping or scratching at all!
It does a great job protecting my undercarriage and thankfully it is possible to paint over it once it cured since it doesn’t come out strictly black like the other undercoat sprays.
The spray was a bit uneven, but with a little bit of patience that turned out to be a non-issue and I had no problems getting everything coated and protected!
Like I said though, be wary of the end color and prepare to paint over it afterwards!
